Vancouver Pagan Pride and Charitable Work

The Pagan Pride Project has always had the mandate that Pagan Pride festivals have some sort of charitable work. The main charity that Pagan Pride collects for is the Food Bank. Hunger and poverty effect many of our community and it seems like a good charity for us to be involved with. VPPD will be collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank as it does every year and I hope that you all can remember to bring an item (if you forget, there is a Safeway in walking distance to the park). Cash donations for the food bank are also welcome.

This year, Cheryl Price is spearheading an Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS fundraising and she has already challenged a few members of our community on the Facebook page, so prepare to get wet or bring some funds for the ALS Association to stay dry. For more information about the Ice bucket challenge please see The  ALS association website.
