Rituals and workshops occur in the main hall area. All rituals and workshops are free to attend, and no experience necessary. Chairs also available for those who wish to sit during workshops or rituals.

11:30 – 12:45 PM | The Ritual Use of Scent: An Introduction
Scent has always played an important role in ritual. It has long been understood that scent can affect mood, anchor memories, and quickly create altered states of consciousness. We will start with a discussion the common varieties of incense and essential oils as well as their application in various rituals and spiritual practices known to students of western esotericism. We will finish with physical examination of some incense resins and blends. Troy Spreeuw has been as student of western mysteries for more than 10 years and is an Aspirant to the Great Work. Come listen to an amazing musician perform Celtic music from the heart and soul. You won’t regret it. Come tap your toes and dance to the magic! |
1:45 – 2:00 PM | Raffle draw #2 -AND -and Silent Auction #1
We will be doing raffle draws throughout the day so that you do not have to be at closing in order to win. Prizes will have times labeled on them so you will know when to be there. There will be two sets of silent auctions so that you do not have to be at closing to win. Auction sheets will be labelled with either 1:45pm or 4:45pm. You must be present with payment to win. |
2:00 – 3:00 PM | Community Circle Ritual
What do you or your group need? Are you looking for new members or for a group to join? Are you looking for resources, information, training, or support? Do you want to sell something or raise money for a cause? Bring your “ask” to the community circle and see what magic the community can bring about. Even if you don’t need anything, please come and see how you might be able to help someone. Hosted by the Silver Spiral Collective. No ritual experience necessary; all ages welcome (though kids may not be interested); chairs are welcome if you prefer to sit; allergy-friendly (no scented products and no food). |

3:15 – 4:15 PM | Tarot Workshop with Bramble
Learn simple exercises & techniques to help you learn to read tarot without using a book or improve your tarot reading skills. This interactive / hands on 1 hour class will be taught by Bramble who has been reading tarot for almost 40 years. |
4:15 – 4:45 PM | Introduction to Ritual Writing
Join Melissa from The Silver Spiral Collective for an exploration of how to create a Pagan ritual for a group. There are as many ways to write a ritual as there are Pagans, but Melissa will share one way to organize your thoughts, choose an interesting theme, and create a ritual that is meaningful and engaging. Her methods can be used within a tradition or with groups that are more eclectic and can be adapted to fit a variety of Pagan faiths. |
4:45 – 5:00 PM | Raffle Draw #4 -AND- Silent Auction #2 + Closing of EventThis will be your last chance for you to participate in the raffles and auctions for the day. You must be present with payment to win. We accept cash, PayPal, Visa, or MasterCard. After giving out the prizes, the organizers will give blessings and close the sacred space |
MULTI-GENERATIONAL ACTIVITIES (TABLE)
Creativity and craft time is not just for kids at Vancouver Pagan Pride! Our activity table is open to all ages. Please make sure that your minors are accompanied by a responsible guardian. All activities are free and all supplies are provided.
11:30 – 12:00 PM | Ostara Story Time
Join us for a reading of an Ostara themed story followed by discussion of Ostara traditions. |
12:00 – 1:00 PM | Make Your Own Runes
Pick your favourite Rune(s) and use paint pens to write them on stone or glass. We will have various pens and stones for you to choose from but feel free to bring your own stones as well. |
1:00 – 1:30 PM | Free Time Colouring
Need to take a moment to do something creative? Drop by and colour some pages. This unstructured activity includes colouring pages for all skill levels including Ostara themed ones. |
1:30 – 2:00 PM | Planting Seeds
What better way to welcome the Spring than to plant some seeds? Get your hands a little dirty in the earth and plant some seeds for renewal and growth. |
2:00 – 3:00 PM | Origami Flowers
Usher in Spring with a garden of colourful flowers made of paper. |
3:00 – 3:30 PM | Free Time Colouring
Need to take a moment to do something creative? Drop by and colour some pages. This unstructured activity includes colouring pages for all skill levels including Ostara themed pages. |
3:30 – 4:30 PM | Egg Decorating
The last activity of the day happens to be the messiest! Join us for glue, glitter, and other goodies as we decorate plastic eggs to keep treasures in. |
