TOKENS

Everyone should stop by the VPP Zone! At the VPP Zone you can choose your free token for the 2016 event. The tokens are not only a cool way for you to take a little something home from each VanPPD, but also one of the ways that we determine how many attendees participate in our annual event. So, even if you do not want to take a token, please come by so your attendance can be verified!

YELLOW WRISTBANDS

We introduced the yellow wristbands at our fundraiser in March, and will continue with their use at VanPPD 2016 on September 10th. Our official VanPPD photographer is aware of our wristband policy, so if you are not “out” and/or you do not wish to have your picture taken, make sure you come by and get yourself a yellow wristband.

COMMUNITY TABLE

The community table is a place for all members of the community to place their business cards. Your service/business does not have to be Pagan-centered, simply Pagan-friendly. Here, the community can be sure to find a counsellor, accountant, dog walker, and so much more services that welcome clientele from the Pagan community!

This is also a great place to leave business cards and/or fliers for:

    • Pagan businesses,
    • Pagan groups to recruit members to their mailing lists, and
    • Upcoming Pagan events to be promoted

Make sure to stop by the community table to see the diversity within our community and help support one another!

CONCESSION STAND

Refreshments and tasty treats are in abundance at our concession stand, like: cookies, chips, and pop. We make every effort to have items that are nut-free, gluten-free, and/or dairy-free so that everyone may enjoy something from the concession.

While you’re here, fill up your reusable water bottle – for free! Forgot your water bottle? We will have some metal water bottles for sale with partial proceeds going to VPP.

*Proceeds from our concession stand help VPP organize a bigger and better Vancouver Pagan Pride Day each year.

GREATER VANCOUVER FOOD BANK (GVFB)

All Pagan Pride Project events have a charitable component. Our tradition at Vancouver Pagan Pride is to accept donations for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB). At our event in 2014, we contributed a total of 80+ pounds of food; we hope to increase our donations this year. Monetary contributions are also accepted for GVFB donations.

RAFFLE + RAFFLE PRIZES

Each year, our vendors graciously donate prizes for our raffle table. Our raffle draws provide a great opportunity to win some amazing Pagan bounty! Prizes are drawn throughout the day, and YOU get to choose which prize(s) your raffle tickets go towards. Help support VPP by purchasing tickets for our raffle and hope that you are in the Gods favour when the numbers are pulled!

*Proceeds from raffle help VPP organize a bigger and better Vancouver Pagan Pride Day each year.

VPP INFORMATION

The VPP Zone is where you find information about upcoming VPP events and Sabbats. You can also register for one of our mailing lists and/or find out if volunteering with VPP is right for you!

This is also where you are most likely to find our local coordinator, ED Johnston, if you need to speak to her. If ED is not at the VPP Zone, one of our friendly volunteers will summon her via Walkie Talkie Radio.

< Safety Note >

If you are in need of first aid assistance, please send someone to the VPP Zone so that they may radio one of our first aid volunteers.
