Activity Zone – VanPPD 2017

The Activity Zone is intended for people of all-ages and is an active place for all kinds of messy, creative shenanigans!

Around the World events often included areas and activities just for the kids, but Vancouver Pagan Pride would love to see our children integrated with adults in activities appropriate for all ages. The young AND the young at heart are encouraged to participate in activities in the Activity Zone.

Schedule and descriptions for activities planned throughout the day on Saturday, September 9, 2017 are as follows:

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Fairy Hunt

Back after last year’s successful hunt, the Fey of Trout Lake will be hiding treats throughout the Vancouver Pagan Pride Day event site for everyone to find. There will be lots of goodies and treats to find and watch out for the spacial baskets with notes in them – because notes mean special prizes! Meeting place: the Activites Zone.

Presented by ED

1:00 – 1:30 p.m. – Essential Oil Sniff Challenge!

Can you recognize (or guess) all 10 essential oils? Prizes for those with a good nose. (We promise to keep to pretty common ones!)

Presented by Violet

1:30 – 2:00 p.m. – Nature Art

Come and join us for mud painting and painting/printing with natural found materials from the park. All are welcome but this activity is developmentally appropriate for children ages 2-9.

Come and join us for a session of pagan/nature friendly songs and stories. All are welcome, but this activity is developmentally appropriate for children ages 2-6.
